Privacy Policy

What We Collect

When you use Scrutr, we collect your email address to create and manage your account. If you submit a contract for review or use our draft feature, the text you submit is sent to Anthropic's API for processing. We store your review history and usage counts in our database.

We do not collect payment card details — payments are handled entirely by Stripe and subject to their privacy policy.

How We Use Your Data

Your email is used to authenticate your account, send verification codes, and deliver review results when you use the email forward feature. Contract text you submit is processed by AI to generate analysis and is not used to train any models.

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties except as required to operate the service (Anthropic for AI processing, Supabase for database, Resend for email delivery, Stripe for payments).

Data Retention

Review history is stored in your account and visible in your account dashboard. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing us.

Cookies

Scrutr uses your browser's localStorage to store your session token. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

Security

Passwords are hashed before storage and never stored in plain text. Session tokens are bound to your device fingerprint. All connections use HTTPS.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights or for any privacy questions, email admin@scrutr.ai.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of Scrutr after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
