Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026

Acceptance

By creating an account or using Scrutr, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What Scrutr Is

Scrutr provides AI-powered contract review and drafting tools. The output is generated by artificial intelligence and is provided for informational purposes only. Scrutr is not a law firm. Nothing produced by Scrutr constitutes legal advice. You should consult a qualified attorney before making any legal decision.

Permitted Use

You may use Scrutr for personal or business contract review and drafting. You may not use Scrutr to generate content intended to deceive, defraud, or harm others. You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the platform.

Your Content

You retain ownership of any contracts or documents you submit to Scrutr. By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to process it for the purpose of providing the service. We do not use your contract content to train AI models.

Plans and Billing

Free accounts include a limited number of reviews and drafts per month. Paid plans are billed as described on the pricing page. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us if you have a billing issue.

Disclaimers

Scrutr is provided "as is." We make no warranty that the AI analysis is accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. Contract law is complex and jurisdiction-specific — always verify important legal conclusions with a licensed attorney.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scrutr's liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of Scrutr after changes constitutes acceptance. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes.
